Like the black clay version, not applying glaze inside means the surface's fine texture mildly eases the tea's astringency, enriching its flavor.
For daily care, rinse with water only and ensure it is thoroughly dried after washing. If tea stains or water marks are of concern, soaking in a diluted dish bleach solution is also effective.
