Japanese Nested Tea Set (Teapot and Teacups) - White

This set consists of a teapot (a teapot without a handle) and nested teacups. Inside the teapot, teacups of various sizes fit snugly. It is suitable for brewing teas that require lower temperatures (around 70 degrees Celsius), such as Gyokuro and Sencha.

Imagine taking the nested tea set, some tea leaves, and a water bottle out to the park or balcony and carefully brewing tea. Such moments are easy to envision.

The teapot has a full capacity of 120ml, suitable for brewing about 50-80ml of tea. The larger teacup holds approximately 50ml of tea, while the smaller one can hold about 30ml. The inside of the teacup is coated with a milky glaze, allowing the color of the tea to be seen.

By not glazing the inside of the teapot, the fine textures on its surface moderate the astringency of the tea, resulting in a smoother and tastier change. It is fired at high temperatures, preventing odor transfer and making it suitable for various types of tea leaves.

Pouring Instructions

If tilted abruptly, water may spill from around the lid. Start pouring at a gentle angle and gradually tilt more as you pour.

If concerned about tea stains, soaking overnight in a diluted solution of oxygen-based bleach for dishes will clean it. Rinse thoroughly and dry well.

About Stoneware

Please use a neutral detergent for washing. Do not use sponges with abrasives, metal scourers, or cleansers as they may damage the surface.

The raw material contains iron powder, which may cause black spots on the surface. Please enjoy these as part of the product's texture.

• When carrying the nested teacups and treasure pot together, please place a cloth between the teacups, and between the teacups and teapot, to prevent damage.
• Filling with boiling or very hot water can make the body very hot. Please be cautious.
